The Dalmore Distillery was founded in 1839 on the northern shores of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. The Dalmore is renowned for its mastery of sherry cask maturation, producing rich and luxurious Highland single malts.

The Dalmore 18 Year Old is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured for fourteen years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before spending an additional four years in first-fill Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks. This extended maturation creates exceptional depth and elegance, combining rich dried fruit, chocolate, citrus, and spice with the distillery's signature silky texture.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with aromas of dark chocolate, orange zest, raisins, cinnamon, vanilla, and polished oak. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, revealing flavors of dried figs, espresso, toffee, roasted hazelnuts, orange marmalade, cloves, and rich sherry sweetness. The finish is exceptionally long and refined, with lingering notes of dark cocoa, dried fruit, oak, and warming spice.
