Gilbey in collaboration with the Jameson Distillery, Redbreast is now produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, where it continues to represent one of the finest examples of Irish whiskey craftsmanship.

Redbreast 15 Year Old is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey matured for a minimum of fifteen years in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. Produced from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills, it offers greater depth and complexity than the 12 Year Old while retaining the rich, spicy character that defines the style.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with aromas of dried apricot, ripe berries, honey, toasted oak, vanilla, and warm spices. The palate is rich and velvety, revealing flavors of dried fruits, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, orange peel, marzipan, and baking spices. The finish is long, elegant, and well-balanced with lingering notes of sherry sweetness, oak, and signature pot still spice.
