Gilbey in collaboration with the Jameson Distillery, Redbreast is now produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, where it continues to represent one of the finest examples of Irish whiskey craftsmanship.

Redbreast 12 Year Old is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey matured for a minimum of twelve years in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills, it is renowned for its rich texture, fruity character, and signature pot still spice.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals aromas of dried fruits, toasted nuts, honey, vanilla, and warm baking spices. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, offering flavors of raisins, figs, marzipan, citrus peel, oak, and sweet spices, followed by a long, smooth finish with lingering notes of sherry, toasted oak, and pot still spice.
