Nikka From The Barrel is a premium blended Japanese whisky crafted from a combination of malt and grain whiskies sourced from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. After blending, the whisky is returned to casks for a marrying period, allowing the flavors to integrate before bottling at a higher proof for added richness, structure, and intensity.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with aromas of ripe orchard fruit, vanilla, caramel, dried apricot, and baking spices. The palate is rich and full-bodied, offering flavors of honey, dark chocolate, orange peel, toffee, oak, cinnamon, and black pepper. The finish is long, warming, and well-balanced with lingering notes of spice, toasted oak, and dried fruit.
