Niepoort Charme 2019

Charme is all about elegance and balance, which is achieved by paying close attention to the slightest nuances during the winemaking process. Charme's elegance is accomplished by using grapes from very old vineyards in Vale de Mendiz, on the banks of the Pinho river, and is made in traditional stone lagares with 100% grape stems.

This wine has a vivid maroon color, flower notes followed by red fruit aromas and hints of oak and mint. The palate is straightforward, backed up by a delicate structure and superb acidity. The finish is lengthy and lingers on spicy and crisp aromas.

Serve with mushrooms and game dishes like partridge or pheasant.
