About the region:
Latricières-Chambertin is one of the Grand Cru vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, Burgundy. The vineyard sits just south of Chambertin, on a relatively shallow, stony site where the underlying limestone is close to the surface. This cool, mineral-rich terroir contributes to wines that combine elegance and finesse with structure and depth.

The wine is made from Pinot Noir, Burgundy’s signature red grape. Pinot Noir expresses the character of Latricières-Chambertin through vibrant red fruit, floral notes, earthy complexity and fine tannins, while the cool, stony site brings freshness and a distinctive mineral character.

Latricières-Chambertin is one of the nine Grand Cru vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin and is often associated with a more elegant and lighter expression than the neighbouring Chambertin. The vineyard covers only around 7.4 hectares, making it a relatively small and highly prized site. The 2009 Louis Jadot bottling was noted for its concentration, red-fruit character, stony minerality and firm structure, reflecting both the warm vintage and the distinctive character of the vineyard.
