Matured in a combination of refill American oak casks and finished in Don Julio Añejo tequila casks, this unique expression brings together Lagavulin's signature peat smoke with vibrant citrus, herbal notes, and sweet oak, offering an innovative interpretation of the classic Islay malt.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with aromas of peat smoke, grilled lemon, sea spray, vanilla, green herbs, and toasted oak. The palate is powerful and oily, revealing flavors of smoky malt, citrus zest, honey, pepper, roasted agave, caramel, and subtle earthy spice. The finish is exceptionally long, with lingering notes of bonfire smoke, maritime salinity, sweet oak, black pepper, and gentle herbal freshness.
