Gramona’s history is long and storied, and the property has been a quality reference point in the zone for decades. As far back as 1816 a member of the family has been making still and sparkling wine in Penedes, just 45 minutes from Barcelona along Spain's Mediterranean coast. Today, Gramona is one of the few remaining family-owned estates in the region.

Corpinnat is a label of excellence registered in 2017, whose name is composed of the word ‘cor’ (heart in Catalan), and ‘Pinnat’, which comes from the etymological root Pinnae, referring to the origin of the place name Penedès. This collective previously part of Cava encompasses wineries that make their wines from 100% organic grapes harvested by hand and vinified entirely on the property.
