After blending, the whisky is re-casked to allow the components to harmonize before bottling, resulting in exceptional richness, balance, and intensity. Presented in a commemorative package, it retains the bold character that has made From The Barrel one of Nikka's signature expressions.

Tasting Notes

The nose is expressive with aromas of dried apricot, ripe pear, vanilla, caramel, baking spices, and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, revealing flavors of honey, dark chocolate, orange peel, ripe stone fruit, cinnamon, clove, and gentle peppery spice. The finish is long, warming, and well-balanced with lingering notes of oak, spice, and dried fruit.
