Glenfarclas 185th Anniversary Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This wonderful Glenfarclas is the result of two years' work by Callum Fraser "Distillery Manager" who carefully selected 35 of the distilleries finest casks spread over six decades before marrying them together to create this Speyside masterpiece! The name says it all, Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 (well, legally at least) and they celebrate their 185th anniversary with this composition. For this whisky they used casks from six different decades so there’s some spirit in the mix that goes back to the 1960s.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, blackcurrant jam, creamy butter, winter spices, and Seville orange peel with a hint of mature leather. On the palate, dundee cake, prune juice, stewed berries and mint fondant. A long and smooth finish reflecting the heritage of this dram.
