Espolòn Reposado Tequila
Brand & History
Espolòn Tequila was launched in 1998 in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Named after the rooster's spur ("espolón" in Spanish), the brand celebrates Mexican culture, history, and artistry through its distinctive labels inspired by the works of renowned printmaker José Guadalupe Posada. Produced from 100% Blue Weber agave, Espolòn has earned a reputation for quality and authenticity.
Product
Espolòn Reposado is a premium tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged for at least two months in new American oak barrels. The maturation softens the vibrant agave character while adding layers of vanilla, caramel, and warm spice, creating a balanced tequila suitable for sipping or classic cocktails.

Trivia
The term "Reposado" means "rested" in Spanish. By law, Reposado tequila must be aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two months, allowing it to develop greater complexity while preserving the fresh character of the agave.
