Edradour Distillery was founded in 1825 near the village of Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands. Known as one of Scotland's smallest traditional distilleries, Edradour produces whisky using time-honored methods and small-scale equipment. The Caledonia expression was created in collaboration with Scottish singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean, whose famous song ""Caledonia"" has become an unofficial anthem of Scotland.

Bottled at a higher strength than the distillery's standard 10 Year Old, it offers a richer and more concentrated profile, combining dried fruit, chocolate, spice, and Edradour's signature creamy texture.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with aromas of raisins, honey, dark chocolate, orange peel, toasted almonds, and warm baking spices. The palate is rich and velvety, revealing flavors of dried figs, caramel, roasted nuts, cinnamon, espresso, and sweet sherry notes. The finish is long, warming, and elegant with lingering notes of dark fruit, cocoa, oak, and gentle spice.
