Blanton's is produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and was introduced in 1984 under the guidance of master distiller Elmer T. Lee. Named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, a former distillery president, it is widely recognized as the world's first commercially marketed single barrel bourbon.

Each barrel is selected individually, resulting in subtle variations from bottle to bottle while maintaining the brand's rich and balanced character.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals aromas of caramel, vanilla, citrus peel, honey, and warm baking spices. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, offering flavors of toffee, dried fruit, cinnamon, toasted oak, and nutmeg, followed by a long finish with notes of vanilla, spice, and gentle oak.
