A study in harmony, the 2019 Arietta Cabernet Sauvignon. All the necessary elements for a successful vintage were present throughout the year, including a predictable, planned harvest period, moderate spring and summer temperatures, and measurable winter rainfall.
Tasting Notes
Black fruits, ripe cherries, graphite, and licorice are the predominant smells, with hints of black tea, delicate fresh sage, currant, and iron oxide. There is a lot of acidity on the palate, which helps to focus and stimulate the taste senses. The wine has a lot of lively aromatic intensity that lasts all the way to the finish, despite its black, opaque appearance.
Food Pairing
This wine, like all quality Cabernet Sauvignon, goes perfectly with nearly all red meat, including steaks and hamburgers.
