Ardbeg An Oa is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky named after the Mull of Oa, the rugged peninsula overlooking the Atlantic on Islay. It is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, virgin oak, and ex-bourbon barrels before being married together in a custom-built gathering vat. This process creates a softer, rounder style while retaining Ardbeg's signature peaty character.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals aromas of sweet peat smoke, toffee, dark chocolate, aniseed, orange peel, and roasted nuts. The palate is rich and creamy, offering flavors of smoked caramel, vanilla, black pepper, treacle, espresso, and gentle oak spice.
