Aberlour 10 Year 2008 Old Particular Single Malt Scotch Whisky

58 JD

A wonderful Speyside single malt, distilled at Aberlour in December 2008. It spent the following decade in a single refill hogshead, until in April 2019 Douglas Laing bottled the whisky for the Old Particular series. The hogshead yielded 476 bottles at 48.4% ABV, full of hallmark Speyside notes. As always with Old Particular bottlings, there's no colouring or chillfiltration to be seen here

Finish: Honey sponge cake, toasty malt, a prickle of oak spice and barley sugar.

Country: Speyside - Scotland

ABV: 48.8%
