This magnificent wine expresses the potential of Tempranillo in its full splendor. 2016 was a climatologically extraordinary year, with an unusual freshness, that resulted in a slow ripening of the grapes and exceptionally velvety tannins in this wine. Due to these characteristics, evolution in bottle will be very promising as the years go by.
Tasting Notes
Deep young ruby red in color. Intense with black fruits aromas and outstanding mineral, Chinese ink, firewood notes. On the palate, full bodied attack. Balanced and well-structured on the palate with silky tannins. Tasty and dense evolution ending in a persistent and fine finish.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with lamb, steak, spare ribs and matured cheese.
