Cerutti Alta Langa Brut 'Enrico' 2016
Suggested Food Pairings:
Enrico Cerutti founded the company in the 1930s together with his son Giovanni; a few years later the first vinifications began and then the first wines began being bottled in the 60s, alongside the entry of his oldest son Enrico to the company. Today, the whole family is involved in the company, respecting tradition and typicality, following a philosophy of continuous improvement and respect for the vineyard and eco-system. The territory and the vineyard are the true heart and heritage of the family.
This wine for the Cerutti family expresses the vocation and tradition of the Canelli area, linked for over a century to the history of the Piedmontese classical sparkling wine. The name of the Cuvée wants to remember the founder Enrico Cerutti, who in 1931 bought the farm with the first vineyards.
Tasting Notes
Faint straw yellow color with green hues. Intense, fragrant, vegetal aromas of herbs on the nose then fruity hints of apple, white flowers and a final frame of characteristic scents of bread and yeast. On the palate, dry, smooth, pleasantly fresh, and persistent.
