"If not as dramatic as some of its predecessors, this most recent offering from Paloma is a nicely measured, well-ripened Merlot whose complex combination of ripe cherries, vanilla, dried herbs and dusty earth spice brings a good deal of richness. It is supple in feel and nicely balanced with a fine sense of palatal weight, and, despite showing a touch of heat as it finishes, it still counts as a solid success. "
