This inky purple Primitivo Salento-driven red wine from Puglia opens with aromas of turned earth and wild mushroom with hints of barnyard and pencil shavings. There is a rush of juicy red raspberry and other red fruit flavors on entry to the palate, followed by dark chocolate and peppercorn.
