Marqués de Cáceres Rosado 2021 (Half Bottle)
Suggested Food Pairings:
In 1970, Enrique Forner founded Marqués de Cáceres, Unión Vitivinícola, S.A., a historic Alliance between a region (Cenicero, La Rioja Alta), an enterprising family, the best vine growers and vineyards in La Rioja, and a Bordeaux concept which revolutionised the production and business model. Enrique had one objective - to obtain the best wines. This obsession continues to be the leitmotiv of Cristina Forner, the third generation of this wine family.
This award winning Rioja Rosé has an expressive pale coral color made from a selection of Tempranillo plots that are located mainly in the cooler parts of Rioja and Garnacha vines from the higher slopes of Cenicero.
Tasting Notes
A delicate floral background of violets and carnations, noted of red fruit and a soft hint of anise. Fruity on the palate, lively and refreshing revealing fine structure with a pleasant acidity. A Rosé of great personality.
Food Pairing
Exquisite aperitif – a versatile wine that marries well with all kinds of food, especially fish, pork, chicken, pasta and lightly spiced dishes.
