Chateau Lynch-Bages 2015
Suggested Food Pairings:
From one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious red wine estates comes this extremely limited Bordeaux Blanc produced from eight parcels of the historical Lynch Bages terroir in Pauillac. What started out as a two barrel experiment to share with friends back in 1978 became a full-fledged wine in 1990 with the introduction of this Bordeaux Blanc Sec.
Tasting Notes
Brambly and attractive ripe blackberries and red-plum aromas with some floral accents, too. The palate has a very plush, polished and regal shape as tannins frame up a core of ripe black fruit. Succulent, impressive finish.
Food Pairing
Perfect to be paired with grilled beef. Also quite enjoyable with roasted, braised or grilled meats like veal, chicken and game, as well as dishes with mushroom or earthy, truffle flavors.
