Glenrothes 10 Year 2009 Provenance Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Size
65 JD
A Provenance bottling of Glenrothes single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. Which matured in a single hogshead cask for 10 years, from May 2009 to May 2019, and was then bottled with an outturn of 455 bottles. They've got a rather lively-looking salmon on these bottles, too, which is wonderful.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, vanilla forward, followed by slightly earthy barley and a touch of orange. On the palate gingerbread, oily malt, hints of forest floor richness. Vanilla once again in control, supported by apricot and lychee, on the finish.
