Lini 910 Lambrusco Scuro

Suggested Food Pairings:

The Lini Winery was founded here in Correggio, in the heart of the region of Emilia, by their great- grandfather Oreste in 1910, as you can clearly see on the labels. Much has changed in the wine world over the last 100 years, especially for Lambrusco, which is making a great comeback.
The Lini Winery has always distinguished itself with its range of Lambrusco and the Sucro is a red lightly sparkling wine. For the production of Lini's classic Martinotti-method Lambrusco (also known as Charmat-method Lambrusco), a still Lambrusco is produced and then racked to pressurized, temperature-controlled tanks where the second fermentation is provoked. The wines are then aged on their lees until the desired complexity and nuance are achieved.
Tasting Notes
Balanced and creamy in texture, delivering lightly tangy acidity layered with well-meshed notes of candied black raspberry, star anise and thyme, with a hint of green olive.
Food Pairing
Lambrusco scuro is the perfect pairing to the traditional food of Emilia of course, but it can be nice with all courses like salads, pasta and grilled vegetables.
