Founded in 1760, Maison Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses. Maintaining family traditions and independent organisation, and have remained faithful to the values that have guided them for 260 years. Since 1760, they have been crafting champagnes using the traditional method, resulting in a unique style with crisp, clean taste and an exceptional purity of fruit.

This fine dry style of rosé with its crisp red-currant fruits is typical of the Lanson style. It is tangy, zesty and with a mineral texture from the high percentage (62%) of Chardonnay in the blend. The wine comes only from Grand Cru vineyards. It is stylish and with intense acidity at the end.

Tasting Notes

To the eye Lanson's Noble Cuvée Rose has a luminous, light pink colour, filled with a myriad of fine bubbles. The nose has aromas of heirloom roses, berry-like fruits that develop notes of the Montmorency cherry. On the palate the attack is dense without being heavy, its presence is affirmed and the complex acidulous flavours prolong the pleasure.

Food Pairing

For a romantic dinner for two, try to match with a Norway lobster served with citrus fruits, a medallion of venison with blueberries, or a serving of wild strawberries.
