15 year old single grain from the Port Dundas Distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. This one was distilled back in July 2004 and bottled in December 2019 after enjoying a finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. 325 bottles were release as part of the Old Particular range by Douglas Laing.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Frosties with milk, cinder toffee, a hint of earthy grain.
Palate: Enjoyably spicy with toasted cinnamon and Sichuan pepper, mellowed somewhat by honey and raisin.
Finish: Sugary coffee and soft apricot.
