This is a 10 year old single malt from the Brackla Distillery (the first Scottish distillery to receive 'royal' status, we'll have you know!), independently bottled by Douglas Laing. It was distilled back in March 2009 and left to age in a refill barrel for a decade, before being bottled in February 2020. Only 301 bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bright and fruit-forward, with tangy pear, papaya and lemon.

Palate: The fruit notes are subdued somewhat on the palate, with barley and spicy oak moving to the fore.

Finish: Creamy vanilla sweetness sticks around on the finish.
