Family owned Teerenpeli Distillery was established 2002 in Lahti, Finland. Today the distillery is the biggest distillery in Finland specialized in producing premium quality Single Malt whiskies. This 10 year old is a Single Malt made with Finnish barley malt matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks (85% bourbon, 15% sherry) for a decade before being bottled.
Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is very floral with light citrus notes and hints of desiccated coconut.
Palate: The Bourbon cask is more dominant on the palate with notes of Acacia honey and vanilla pods.
Finish: The finish is fairly long for a whisky of this age, with notes of caramel and a touch of peat.
