16 year old Ardmore single malt, independently bottled by the ever-fabulous Douglas Laing. This one began life back in March 2003, and was aged in a refill hogshead until August 2019, when it was bottled up for the Old Particular range.
Tasting Notes
Enjoyably smoky, with a hint of dried apricot sweetness in the background. On the palate, brown sugar, seaweed, charred oak and waves of smoke. Damp oak, dried fruit, and cooking spice warmth on the finish.
